A short-to-medium length walk, of between 8 and 15 km per day (22 km one day, shortenable to 12km by riding with luggage). Further options most days for walk shortening.
Terrain
Difficulty: easy
Well-marked path, no steep sections except on the start of day 3 out of Rakov Skocjan. Route designer Janez Golob put aside climbing boots in favour of trainers for this walk. Average cumulative uphill stretches (CUSs) 280m per day (daily between 50m and 500m). GPX File available for handheld GPS for complete route (except Tomaj optional walks).
