said about this walk

“The walk from Grazelema to Montejaque took a lot longer than the notes said because we stopped frequently to look at the flowers and birds.”

“This was our first such holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.”

“The Griffin Vultures were truly magnificent. We sat and watched at least 30 of them circling (quite low) overhead.”

How much walking
Hours per Day: 4½ - 6
(shorter options most days, 2 poss. rest days)
A medium length walk, though Spanish eating habits (supper not before 9) mean you can take as long as you need for each day’s walk.
Terrain
Difficulty: easy-medium
Mainly gentle terrain on marked paths, with occasional scrambles. Average cumulative uphill stretches (CUSs) 395m.  The maps are quite accurate, but Guy Hunter-Watts’ directional notes make navigation easy.
