Day 2 Kala Nera to Miliés. Take the hydrofoil to Volos, where Valentina will meet you and take you to the start of your  first walk. Two different walking options take you up to your first hill village. (6 km, 2 hrs, CUSs 475m)
Day 3 Miliés to Tsangarada. The longest day on this route, a lovely walk on calderimi through the woodlands on the southern slopes of Pelion, before arriving at Tsangarada with its churches, square, restaurants and ancient plane tree. (10 km, 5 hrs, CUSs 390m)
Day 4 Tsangarada circuit. Take a walk via Doris Schlepper’s Serpentine Garden to the sea, or up into the hills around this pretty village, or just relax at our special hotel.
Day 5 Tsangarada to Aghios Joannis. Walk down to the delightful harbour at Damouchari, have a swim, then lunch in one of the tavernas by the sea. In the afternoon, stroll over the headland to the quiet resort of Aghios Joannis, your home for the next two nights. (7 km, 3 hrs, CUSs 80m) (Sept/Oct - free day in Tsangarada)
Day 6 The Kissos circuit (or optional rest day). Up to the mountain village of Kissos before lunch to see the church, then eat your packed lunch in the square before a lovely walk back down shady paths to Aghios Joannis (11 km, 5 hrs, CUSs 530m.  Alternative: taxi to Kissos then walk back down - 2½ hrs) (Sept/Oct - taxi to Volos and ferry back to Skiathos)
Day 7 Leave Aghios Joannis, taxi to Volos and ferry back to Skiathos for a final day and night on this pretty island. (Sept/Oct - free day in Skiathos)
Day 8 Depart hotel (or choose to spend extra nights in Skiathos, or maybe to Athens for the sights).
