Route started 2004 - only recent feedback shown

We both found it very difficult to fault anything about the whole holiday. Nice to have everything arranged for us without it feeling like a "package". We liked the flexibilty of the itinerary at the planning stage and are glad that we added extra days. The background information provided showed great local knowlege compared to that provided by other companies to walkers that we encountered along the way." Oct '10

"Thought the Blue book was excellent - restaurant recommendations from other walkers was helpful. We thought the holiday was brilliant. Very little needed to improve as each day and hotel provided a different experience  We met other walkers from GB with another company and compared notes. "In retrospect I would have liked to have stayed longer in La Brigue (next time!). As before, the walks were of a good length, and the hotels welcoming. The towns along the way are remarkable, and fascinating to explore. It was good to take a day off in Sospel (in any case there was a powerful storm that day). We would recommend a swim in the lovely deep water gorge below Saorge and we enjoyed the walk around Cap Martin." August '10
 
"Highlights: Overall a very fine walk, with a good story line and fantastic scenery plus wonderful flowers in May/June;  ·Notably the walk on day 4 from Breil to Sospel, the first views of the coast and the arrival at Ste Agnes, the clarity of the walk notes (with clear‘proper’ maps) that meant that we were never  in doubt about the route –and the timings were a good guide for us. the railway journey from Nice to La Brigue, the hospitality, helpfulness and catering of Robert at La Brigue." "It was one of the best holidays we've ever had, we'd never tried the walking between hotels thing before and it was great to have luggage carried for you, that went without a hitch. Spectacular scenery, flowers, bird watching (look out for Royal Eagles near Berghe!) and lovely food. Maps with route marked on them are excellent. Route notes overall very helpful as well, it makes you feel looked after in a foreign country. Thanks very much for a great holiday - we're still talking about it."
