Isabelle Johnson
Route: The Dolomites
Isabelle has been living in the Dolomites for more than 15 years, is married to a local man and speaks fluent Italian. She has been working in walking tourism for nearly two decades, leading and setting up walking trips for English speakers both in the Dolomites and elsewhere in Italy. She translates books and academic articles on history as well as food and wine, and enjoys teaching English to Italians.
In her free time she walks in Italy, the UK and elsewhere and enjoys travelling. She has a special interest in Alpine flowers, Italian wine and the history of the Dolomite Front of World War I which you stumble across whenever you go hiking in the Dolomites.
