If the BBC’s new feel-good detective drama ‘The Mallorca Files‘ gets you in the mood for some sunny winter walking, take a look at our holiday in the northwest of the island.
Spend some time in the historic capital of Palma before heading out into the much quieter Serra de Tramuntana, for mountain footpaths and magnificent coastal views. Stay in beautiful old towns such as Valldemossa and Soller, and walk the ridge-top Archduke’s Path.
This makes an ideal low-season holiday, and is available from mid-January – just in time for the almond blossom and the early spring wildflowers.
