We both had a great time - the walking, scenery, accommodation and food. We enjoyed the quietness - saw no other walkers for the first four days. Organisationally On Foot were spot on - everything worked really smoothly.

We travelled to Northern Provence in early September , slightly concerned that it would be too hot, but there was plenty of shade on the walks so the heat was ok. The walks are quite strenuous and many of the footpaths are very rocky so not particularly comfortable underfoot. We are in our early 60s and pretty fit but were still challenged at times. The accommodation is largely good with the exception of Les Geraniums in Barroux which is very basic. The Hotel Montmirail was our favourite with excellent dinners on the courtyard in the evening. We were walking during the grape harvest which gave an added interest to the scenery. Overall we would highly recommend it

8 days of hiking in hills of Priorate using the Onfoot provided app and printed materials to navigate easily. Some amazing sight to see in terms of views, and also some interesting historical sites. The accommodation, food and wine were good quality and value.

We walked the lighthouse way from Camarinas to Finisterre. 4 days walking in all but with a rest day at the excellent parador in Muxia along the way. The route was excellent with some very sensible variation options offered by on foot. The accommodation provided was really nice. A great blend of small friendly hotels and larger home stays. The route that on foot offered was truly memorable and well thought through. The views were stunning and because some of the walking days were quite long we felt a real sense of achievement at the end. I would highly recommend this route and On Foot.

Booked through Onfootholidays, myself and two girlfriends hiked 6 days in the Dolomites. We stayed in San Candido, Misurina and Cortina - all of which were charming. Our hotels were comfortable and inviting. The hikes were rigorous but do-able and each provided the reward of spectacular views and delicious lunches at remote refuges. I looked forward to each day and the natural wonders that awaited.

We booked a seven night self-guided walking trip along the western side of Lake Garda, staying in a number of wonderful hotels en route. The walks had been well researched and offered spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains. After each day's physical exertions we relaxed with delicious Italian cuisine and local wines .

We walked the first part of this route in May and came back to finish it in September. A very good decision! The weather was glorious and we could stay another couple of night in beautiful Casperia. Wonderful food, wine and accommodation and stunning scenery. It was hot, but the walks are well graded with plenty of shade.

I had lovely weather for the entire holiday! As always, On Foot was extremely well-organized and booked lovely places to stay. This hike has some extremely difficult days with sections of trail that are very exposed. My suggestion would be to take the warnings about vertigo and alternate routes in bad weather very seriously as there are stretches of trail where there would be dire consequences if one slipped.

We went on the Classic Slovenia walk and absolutely loved it. We didn't know what to expect from Slovenia, beyond Ljubljana and Lake Bled, but we were definitely not disappointed! Slovenia's countryside, vineyards and forests are gorgeous. It was so relaxing to walk the beautiful trails, not seeing anyone else and just feeling like we had the place to ourselves. We'd then come across lovely, quiet little villages and were able to get a peek into Slovenian life. The walk was not challenging (which is exactly what we wanted on this occasion), but there were enough hills to get our blood pumping and legs going. We spent three nights in Ljubljana before starting, and three nights in Trieste at the end, before moving on to Venice. I think the extra nights either end were well worth it. Both places had enough to offer and were absolutely stunning. More importantly, there were some fantastic side trips within the walk. We visited Predjama Castle (do not skip this!!) and stayed an extra night at Guesthouse Sajna and visited the Škocjan Caves. This is even more of a must-see. We were mind-blown by the size of the caves, how beautiful they were and how spaces like this exist right underneath us! We hired e-bikes and rode out and back. The route we took was 90% off-road and easy enough to follow on the Pocket Earth app (all the information for this is provided by On Foot). We had a ball zooming around on the bikes, and it was nice to have a lie-in! Seriously, the caves are worth a visit, however you get there. All the accommodation we stayed in was great. The food at Ecotourism Farm, Hisa Posebne Sorte and Guesthouse Sajna were particular highlights. The love and commitment to seasonal and local produce was really evident, and it was lovely to experience the warmth and personal touch that came with staying at family-run accommodations. And the wine! We were in Ljubljana in early August, during a heatwave, and did spend some days out on the trails in 37-degree heat. Nothing could have been done about this and we just had to get on with it (husband actually loved it, I was a little more sun-aware!!). We still got to see the wildflowers, and it was only on the last day or so of the walk that the land began to look parched. The vineyards were all very healthy though- hurray!

A well-organized 5-day walk from Dunsford to Dartmouth in Devon. I was a solo hiker, but the information made available to me via the On Foot Holidays App and the transport and accommodation arrangements were excellent.

We walked for 7 days from Poblet to Falset staying along the way at Rojals, Prades, Cornudella, La Morera and Gratallops.. The walk was through a variety of landscapes, including beautiful bush, grapevines, hills, river valleys, and including some relatively steep and challenging terrain. Views were fantastic in places. Highlights were the climb up Montsant, the walk from Prades along the Suriana river valley and the climb up to Siurana citadel.

We have been with On Foot holidays before and they are always well organised offering scenic varied routes and interesting places to stay. Would definitely recommend this trip although perhaps a week or two earlier. We knew we were on the cusp when we booked it but it was hot! Europe was in the middle of a heatwave however. We will be going with On Foot again.
